Muskellunge

Muskellunge (Muskie) are revered as the ultimate trophy species by those who fish for them and hated by those who don't. They are generally suitable only for large ponds or lakes that can sustain a voracious top predator. Stocking rate is two per acre. In Illinois they will not produce self sustaining populations so must be restocked periodically. Available only during the Fall harvest season.
